Climate: There is the rainy season in the months April & May. Otherwise the climate is extremely pleasant with another small rainy season in November, which does normally however not have any great impact on travelling. During local winter months it can get very cold at night, even slightly under 0°C in the higher altitudes, for example at the Ngorongoro Crater. As soon as the sun is out, it warms up again and can even in winter go up to 20°C during the day in the higher altitudes. On Zanzibar is tropical climate with 28°C during the day and also hotter in the summer months up to 35°C.
