Madikwe Game Reserve
In this malaria free private Game Reserve you could get the chance to see the so called ‘Big 5’, being elephant, leopard, rhino, buffalo and lion as well as other animals during an unforgettable safari. Should you be planning an extraordinary safari in a malaria free region, this reserve is in our opinion most suitable and conveniently reachable with an approx. 1 hour flying time from Johannesburg.
South Africa is an exceptionally family friendly country. No matter what age your children are, here you find suitable options to having designed your holiday in such a manner that both the parents as well as the children take memorable holiday moment’s home with them. In the meantime even young children are welcome in some of the top quality safari establishments. Furthermore South Africa also offers a number of malaria free regions, so that entire holidays can be planned through malaria free areas. As we have travelled numerous times with our own children in South Africa, we are especially pleased to advise you on this aspect.
Because of the good infrastructure in South Africa, it is well suited for self drive tours. We certainly also organize privately guided tours for you or a combination of both. Most of the safari areas are most comfortably reached by plane.
Did you know...,
currently there are direct flights from Frankfurt as well as Munich to Cape Town? You fly over night and only during the European winter months is there a one-hour time difference. There is virtually a no more comfortable way to reach an overseas destination. Cape Town, also called ‘The Mother City’ of South Africa, can also be perfectly combined with the Kruger National Park through several direct flights.
If you are thinking of extending you journey with a beach stay by the Indian Ocean, there are new direct connecting flights from Kruger National Park to Maputo as well as Vilanculos, which is the so called ‘gateway’ to the Bazaruto Archipelago. This means that you could be enjoying breakfast in the wilderness and a late lunch by the Indian Ocean on the same day within one and the same holiday.
South Africa is a huge country with much diversity. Even with a couple of journeys, those could all differ from each other. There is also a nice choice of wonderful accommodation. One lodge, which I personally really admire and appreciate, because of its people, superb location, the overall ambiance and above all an outstanding cuisine, is Jamala Madikwe Lodge. It further is a lodge, from which our clients constantly report back positively. The malaria free Madikwe Game Reserve with its romantic hilly landscape is in the meantime also appreciated by experienced safari travellers.
In South Africa there are various possibilities to design a tour according to your individual wishes. Whether you are looking for an exclusive tour with the emphasis on cuisine and wine or you would rather prefer to explore South Africa’s wildlife whilst on safari, we gladly find the most suiting programme for you. South Africa can further be perfectly combined with a beach stay in Mozambique.
Find inspirations to your journey by our Bush & Beach Combination and also by our Deluxe Tour. We gladly contact you to discuss your individual expectations and are looking forward to being your professional partner for the organisation of your travel arrangement to Africa.

It is an impressive hotel towering above the V&A Waterfront and setting a new standard for luxury accommodation in Cape Town. The hotel has been built in the grain elevator portion of the historic grain silo complex occupying six floors above the Zeitz MOCAA (Museum of Contemporary Art Africa). Zeitz MOCAA houses Africa’s largest collection of contemporary African art. The exterior of the building was designed by Thomas Heatherwick.
