In February 2001, Ellen Spielberger fulfilled her dream by founding Bush Legends.<\/p>\n

Today our small team consists of 2 committed women. What connects us, is love for one of the greatest continents on earth. We are regularly on site to be able and consider the latest developments in our programme processes. In addition to numerous product educationals, we also lived on site. Another basis for our day to day work is a large and intensively maintained network with local service providers. We know our local partners personally.<\/p>\n

They also know our high expectations and provide the necessary attention to detail. Each of us also specialises in certain countries. When selecting local airlines, we pay particular attention to their reliability and compliance with international safety standards.<\/p>\n

AFRICA MEANS TO ME: Inspiration, happiness, energy, beauty, tranquillity, space, dreams, nature, fascination as well as enormous contrasts.<\/em><\/p>\n

Since 1995 I have regularly travelled to countries in Eastern and Southern Africa. I was fortunate to be able to gather my first professional experience on this continent by working for one of the most noted luxury incoming agencies with operation in Eastern and Southern Africa. During these 2\u00bd years in Sales and Marketing for the German speaking market, I was not only able to acquire sustainable product knowledge, but was also able to see behind the curtain of the tour operating business at the same time. Subsequently I joined a tour operator who specialised in Africa and was mainly responsible for building up and expanding the product portfolio for Eastern Africa. Consequently I was called into the wide \u2018African\u2019 world, where I lived and worked in various camps, firstly in Zimbabwe and thereafter in Kenya. Equipped with this knowledge, I founded Bush Legends in February 2001. Since then the company has constantly developed. We consistently grow with our challenges and are proud of satisfying the highest quality requirements in the organisation of discerning and tailor made journeys to Africa.<\/p>\n

I have been a part of the Bush Legends team since September 2004 and have very much enjoyed this interesting and eclectic challenge. During various journeys to Africa, especially to Eastern Africa, I have gained well-founded product knowledge, which is constantly being updated by regular product educational trips to our destinations. I especially take pleasure in sharing this knowledge with our valued clients to organise their tailor made travel arrangements according to their specific requirements. It gives me great joy to contribute in realising the respective dream journeys in Africa. In May 2011 I moved to Berlin for personal reasons and today\u2019s technology enables me to work for Bush Legends as usual, just with the little difference, that I now do it from my home office.
