Nature, wildlife and varied scenic landscapes characterise many regions in Africa, making the continent an exceptional travel destination. When planning our journeys, information about our partners’ initiatives in nature conservation and community projects are also considered.

This could for example be accommodation using solar or water treatment systems, wildlife conservation programmes or supporting regional projects. The nature of such measures may vary depending on the accommodation and the region.

Many of our selected accommodation providers are involved in various projects and, for example, support education or healthcare initiatives, collaborate with local producers, or source selected goods and services from the region.
